Mission Valley has both Men’s and Women’s competitive doubles teams competing in USTA sanctioned events, the Suncoast men’s league and the TriCities women’s league. League competitions typically run throughout the year with September to April seeing the most activity. If you’re not playing tennis at Mission Valley, you’re not having fun!
Seen below is the MVCC Ladies 3.5 League Champions from a recent season. The winning team is pictured below from left to right: Sandi Gayheart, Ann Larabee, Karen Ingrando, Amy Iverson, Captain Anna Losey, Shelley Heller, Rhonda Wiggins, Marianne Zentz, Carrie Bond and Chieko Ohrstrom. Absent were Jen Jaworski, Mary Foxwell, Lori Blau, Ret Kille and Nina Harff. The teams continue to grow and we expect more wins next season!
